On Nov 2, 2021, Laramie County voters have the power to make decisions about their future by voting in the 6th Penny election. Wyoming law allows counties to impose a local option sales and use tax for a special purpose. Ballot propositions, approved by the governing bodies of Laramie County, the city of Cheyenne, and towns of Albin, Burns and Pine Bluffs, are submitted to a vote of the people to decide whether the projects should be funded through the sales and use tax.
